Hi Kristen,
I bought some of your kitchen towels at Wildcard store in Pittsburgh. I relocated to this city in October 2009 too.
Do you have an online shop or etsy shop. I would love to buy more of your work.

Hi Kristen,
I was led here by your old friend, DC. He was quite right when he said I’d really like you. Lovely photographs, lovely words, lovely projects, lovely family. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Kristen! I found this through Melissa, who we know through the Waldorf class. She suggested your site for ideas for Valentines day. I’m looking at the photos and thinking wow, that really look likes Saya. Only to find that it is!
YOu are inspiring me to spend more time making my art fiber stuff. Hope to see you soon!

Hi Carol. I try to make stuff and update my blog when I can, but sometimes I’m inconsistent. I’m glad you found me. Have a great weekend. I’m off to check out your etsy shop 🙂

Hi, stumbled across your blog while I was reading Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh and I love your blog! Also, I was very delighted to know that your daughter’s name is also Saya! We named our 3 year old daughter Saya, too! We don’t meet to many African Americans by the name of Saya, especially in the U.S. My husband is in the military and our older two, ages 5 and 3, were born in Okinawa, Japan! Oh by the way, my son’s middle name is Musashi! We loved Okinawa and hopefully we’ll be able to go back to show the children their birthplace. Once again, LOVE your blog and your family! And Saya is such a cutie pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Alicia, So glad to “meet” another Saya. We knew one or two people named Saya in Japan, but never in the States. I have never been to Okinawa, but I would love to go there. What does your son’s middle name mean?

Sorry for the late reply…..but my son’s middle means samurai. I taught an English conversation class back in Okinawa and I let my students give my son his name and we LOVE it!!!!

I love that you let your students choose your son’s middle name. That sounds like fun. Saya doesn’t have a middle name, but she always makes up new middle names for herself 🙂

Found you through your etsy shop. All ways nice to run into Ohioans on the web (I went to school at CCAD in Columbus and currently reside in Hudson with my husband). Beautiful photos and a beautiful home.

The printing with gelatin really was such a great idea. I tried it on fabric too. I am about to post a pic 🙂

Hello, saw your business listed on the Crafty Supermarket page and checked out your blog! It’s cool to see someone from Oberlin coming to Cincy! My fiance and I graduated from there in 2008 and now live in Cincinnati. Loved looking through your blog…miss the lovely old houses in Oberlin! Annnd I saw you do embroidery/cross-stitch…which is also awesome!

Hi Sarah! I’m so looking forward to meeting you in Cincinnati. I love embroidery, but it takes time, so it’s hard to make the quantity for craft fairs. I am sure you understand 😉 I’ve been stitching away every chance I get.
